The Old Well is a handcrafted interlocking jigsaw puzzle featuring vibrant paper-collage artwork of Chapel Hill's iconic campus landmark, created by artist Janice Weiss. With over 425 laser-cut pieces, including over three dozen specialty "whimsy" pieces representing memorable aspects of the Carolina experience, such as the Bell Tower, Old Well, Davie Poplar, and South Building, it offers a challenging, tactile way to connect with your UNC heritage. Each puzzle is a finished size of 19.25" x 15.25" and comes in a custom, handmade wooden box.
We have an engraving option that makes it a fantastic gift for graduates and alumni.
This puzzle was amazing!! The details were so impressive and the artwork was simply beautiful! My mom, sister, and I (all TarHeels:)) put the puzzle together and it was such a fun time! We enjoyed seeing all of the specialty pieces that were so sentimental and special to us and our favorite place! Overall, this puzzle was one of my favorite gifts I have ever received and the fact that it was handmade made it even more special to me!!
