Celebrate Davidson College with a handcrafted wooden jigsaw puzzle inspired by one of the college’s most beloved landmarks. The artwork for this puzzle is based on a quilt by North Carolina artist Carol Morris, featuring Chambers Building, Davidson’s most iconic campus building. The quilt theme gives the puzzle a warm, textured, and deeply personal feel—an ideal tribute to a college known for tradition, community, and a strong sense of place.
As you assemble the puzzle, you’ll discover custom whimsy pieces that tell the Davidson story in miniature. Look for the Old Well, a symbol of campus memory and tradition; Chambers Building itself; the “Chamber Maids,” honoring the beloved campus reference; and a Cake Racer, celebrating one of Davidson’s most distinctive student traditions. Each special piece adds a moment of recognition, surprise, and storytelling to the puzzle experience.
The Davidson College puzzle is available in three sizes. The Large puzzle measures 22" x 19" and includes 780 pieces, offering our most detailed and immersive experience. The Medium puzzle measures 16" x 14" and includes 350 pieces, while the Small puzzle measures 13" x 11" and includes 250 pieces. Each puzzle comes in a handmade wooden box, perfect for display.
We made the small and large Davidson puzzle and found both to be so much fun. The Whimeys are not all the same in each size puzzle, so it’s fun to discover what’s different,. The large puzzle is a challenge with its 700+ pieces but one we took head on and enjoyed ever minute. The puzzles are so well made and the tribute to Davidson College is on point. Highly recommend this puzzle or actually any of the Hello World Puzzles. If your into puzzles, these are for you.!
