Hello World Puzzles won a Silver Medal in the 2026 CASE Competition!
Princeton University commissioned us to create a special gift for their top volunteers and contributors. They chose artwork that uniquely recognized the remarkable gifts their donors made. We embodied the artwork to create a truly memorable gift by designing "whimsy" pieces that would be meaningful to Princeton Alumni. It worked exceptionally well.
When Princeton saw how well the puzzle turned out, they submitted it for an award to the annual conference of Advancement and Development Professionals - CASE. The judges wrote the following in their award presentation:
The judge panel was highly impressed by the creativity, craftsmanship, and interactive nature of the puzzle, praising its thoughtful details, hidden “Easter eggs,” and icons that tied back to the institution and campaign. Additionally, judges appreciated the puzzle's purpose as a commemorative donor and volunteer gift, noting that it successfully celebrated the campaign’s achievements in a memorable and engaging way.
Needless to say, the client was delighted as well - both with the outcome and with the process. We used an iterative design process to refine the work as we went along. Princeton would describe their requirements, and we would quickly return a drawing or mockup. We delivered the first mockup of the puzzle and were thrilled to see how excited the client was with the product. One last iteration, and we went to production. The puzzles were delivered on-time and exactly as the client wanted. No surprises, only a delighted client and delighted Alumni!
We take great pride in our corporate gift program. We love helping our clients take ideas and turn them into memorable and lasting gifts. We like being winners!
